A historic building with a variety of uses

As one of the last remaining historic corner buildings in Berlin Mitte, the property is home to a mix of tenants that may seem surprising at first glance. Originally built as a hat factory for the Prussian royal court, politics has since taken up residence here. Among other things, the building houses an embassy, right at the heart of Berlin’s political scene.

But diplomacy is not the only thing at home here: political consultancy also plays a significant role – not least through a consultancy firm based here. Nevertheless, fashion and aesthetics have remained defining features of the building to this day. Even 115 years after its construction, the ground floor is still home to a clothing shop. A few floors above, a plastic surgery practice is dedicated to fulfilling individual desires for physical aesthetics.
