The former cavalry barracks were built in 1937 for the Wehrmacht’s cavalry regiment and served as a base for the Red Army until 1993. Following extensive restoration in accordance with heritage conservation principles, 176 flats – mostly comprising two to three rooms – were created across approximately 10,945 m² of lettable space, spread across eight residential buildings featuring striking clinker brick façades and distinctive reliefs.
